Your Weirdness Is A Gift!

You can hide behind a mask of trying to fit in or to keep up with everyone else, you can be ashamed of who you are and what others may think however the very parts of you that you hide or a scared of are very much a gift. I want YOU to know that.

You see only you holds that special type of weirdness, the thing you once thought was a curse of standing out and being different and the thing that people might make fun of you for is the very thing worth celebrating, owning and being after all you're an individual not a clone and you might just find where true happiness lies.

Your weirdness is a gift so make sure you unwrap it!

With magic from me to you

An Open Letter On Nudity...

While I'm not one for keeping up with Kim Kardashian the nude selfie she posted on Instagram sparks a topic of conversation I feel is important to address. Many celebrities including Bella Thorne and Ariel Winter commented along the lines of "Her body, her rules." while P!nk tweeted on International Women's Day with:
"Shout out to all the women, across the world, using their brains, their strengths, their talent, their "magic" that they were born with, that only they possess. It may not ever bring you as much 'attention' or bank notes as using your body, your sex, your tits and asses, but women like you don't need that kind of 'attention'. In the quiet moments you feel something deeper than the fleeting excitement resulting from attention, you feel something called pride and self respect. Keep on resisting the urge to cave. You'll never have to make silly excuses for yourself."

Both open the doors on important conversations we need to be having with ourselves and each other on self love, validation/attention, your body your rules, objectification, self objectification, sexualization, intentions, ramifications and social media. Perhaps though the most important conversation is the one we need to have with ourselves on are we living by our values?, what are the driving forces behind them? and understanding the pros and cons of them all. If you also happen to be a public figure then questioning how you are influencing and effecting your audience is just as equally important.

We are all different therefore our values will be too. Right or wrong will never be the answer but instead acting upon our values and understanding that sometimes others are acting from a place of their values and sometimes they aren't (just like we all do at times) and that sometimes people align with our values and sometimes they don't.

With magic from me to you
